Yes, you need to pay for your food on-site.
For confirmed reservations, there are two types of transactions we conduct with credit cards:
- Reservation fee:
The reservation fee is charged when the reservation request is confirmed. It is a fee for the service of arranging the reservation on your behalf. Details regarding reservation fees can be found here. - Authorization for cancellation fee:
If the restaurant you requested a reservation at has cancellation policies or if it falls under our own cancellation policies, we will authorize your credit card for the amount of the cancellation fee. This is not an actual charge. Details regarding credit card authorization can be found here.
Since this is not an actual charge, if there are no cancellations within the specified policies, the authorization will be released at a later date, and the amount will be returned.
In either case, there is no deposit (prepayment) involved. Therefore, on the day of the reservation, you will need to pay the full amount for food at the restaurant.
